Key Responsibilities
  1. Coach employees on safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Support production schedules and manage line staff to meet budgeted line rates and prevent out-of-specification production.
  3. Facilitate communication between shifts and teams, and work with the Shift Supervisor to ensure proper training and cross-training of crew members.
  4. Assist in meeting customer requirements through effective communication, documentation, and training of team members.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvement using lean manufacturing concepts and company values.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three plus years of manufacturing experience in a lead role, or five plus years in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of database software, Rippling, Excel, and Word processing software.
  • Manufacturing and process knowledge, sound judgment capabilities, and lean manufacturing knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety and GMP regulations, ability to make sound business decisions, and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and effective management skills to direct employees in efficient operations.
Work Environment

Manufacturing Plant Environment. Must move/lift up to 50 lbs. Warm/humid environment. Must be able to work off shifts and be flexible with scheduling.
