Job Title: Postdoctoral Scholar

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team at the University of California, Los Angeles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience and experience in conducting independent research in mechanisms of motor recovery after stroke in humans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze brain MRI data from trial participants
• Collaborate with Dr. David Shattuck on MRI analysis tools
• Understand clinical trial procedures and protocols
• Analyze behavioral data from the trial and present findings for discussions
• Contribute to manuscript development and publication
• Assist in securing additional funding for research projects

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience or equivalent
• Background in human research, preferably related to stroke or other neurological diseases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
