We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Carmel. As a key member of our Labor and Delivery department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care, communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
