Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and medical histories.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • At least two years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field
  • BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN certifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced hospital environment
