Job Summary:

The Surgical Technologist performs a variety of technical tasks related to intra-operative patient care, including preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
  • Provide emergency care measures as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as completion of a formal Surgical Technology training program or equivalent experience. Previous experience in the operating room as a Surgical Technologist is preferred, and CST certification is required.
