We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our hemodialysis team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including administering and monitoring dialysis treatments.
- Conduct pre- and post-dialysis evaluations, including vital signs and weight measurements.
- Initiate and maintain vascular access, including cannulation and hemostasis.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum one year of medical-surgical nursing experience, with six months of hemodialysis experience preferred.
- Successful completion of a training course in hemodialysis theory and practice.
- CPR certification.
