Pacific Club Banquet Server Job Description

At The Pacific Club, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Banquet Server to join our exceptional team. As a key part of our service staff, you will provide exceptional, professional service to our members and guests during private events.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Set up and clean banquet rooms and serve banquets.
  • Provide immediate attention to all members and guests upon greeting them.
  • Takes beverage orders and serves food in a specified station.
  • Pours and refills wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served with and after the meal.
  • Clears soiled dishes as needed.
  • Cleans all assigned work areas in the kitchen and banquet areas.


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Fine dining experience and wine knowledge are preferred.


Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to carry trays of food.
  • Ability to open wine bottles.
  • Standing on feet for up to 8 hours.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
  • Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.
