About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Walmart. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and high-quality baked goods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery operations, including inventory management, production planning, and quality control.
  • Be an Expert Baker: Develop and execute creative designs for cakes, pastries, and other baked goods, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
  • Be a Tech-Savvy Baker: Utilize digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement, including handheld technology for production, merchandise ordering, and training.
  • Be an Owner of Quality: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training to develop, influence, and inspire a team-oriented work style.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and adapting to change.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, and adapting to and learning from change.
Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly wage range of $16.00 to $23.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Requirements
  • 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
