We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, evaluating exam appropriateness, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and evaluate exam appropriateness
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Analyze computer-acquired data and archive images to PACS
- Perform quality control for all equipment and adhere to radiation safety standards
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (ARRT-N) Registry
- Licensure: If practicing in Arkansas, a Nuclear Medicine Technologist License is required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle complex situations
- Bachelor's degree
