Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

The New London Hospital Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their emergency care team. As a critical care nurse, you will provide comprehensive emergency care, including triaging, assessing, and treating patients with a wide range of medical and trauma-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Conduct health histories and physical assessments, developing treatment plans for patients with complex medical and trauma-related conditions

Prioritize care quickly and adjust plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Handle unplanned situations, including dealing with angry or combative patients or family members

Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years of recent Emergency Department experience

Experience in a Critical Access facility

EPIC EMR experience

Previous travel nursing experience

Certifications: All required certifications must be submitted in the application. No pending certifications will be accepted.
