As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on our Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for providing routine care under the direction of the RN. You will provide for the comfort of the patient and communicate according to protocol.

The CNA is accountable for acting as a role model for the mission and patient promise of AdventHealth. You will work within the parameters of the Florida Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, established policies, protocols, and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

· Providing activities of daily living and personal hygiene

· Assisting with treatments as instructed by the RN

· Providing patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, answering patient call lights and requests, transporting patients, and reporting observations to the RN
