Role Summary

In the capacity of a Lead Technical Consultant, you will assume a pivotal role in ensuring that the requirements of our Kitchen & Bath North America (KBNA) B2B partners are effectively transformed into actionable technical specifications. This position necessitates close collaboration with the Solution Architect and the team to explore avenues for scaling our Salesforce platform and enhancing the overall user experience. The Lead Technical Consultant will engage in hands-on development of solutions, ranging from initial proof-of-concepts to essential system components. Additionally, this role involves optimizing technical performance and pinpointing areas for non-functional enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate with minimal supervision from the KBNA DX B2B team while receiving mentorship from senior colleagues.
  • Ensure that stakeholder requirements are accurately translated into actionable technical specifications, collaborating with the team to scale our Salesforce platform and enhance user experience.
  • Engage actively with the Solution Architect and participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of various projects.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes and how Salesforce supports our internal and external stakeholders across the KBNA organization.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve issues, making informed decisions that yield positive outcomes.
  • Assess the implications of proposed solutions across the organization and identify potential barriers to change.
  • Create use cases to illustrate business requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect to propose solutions that prioritize user needs in decision-making.
  • Work alongside partner and program management and the Solution Architect to establish roadmap priorities and deliver on them to enhance stakeholder experiences and provide effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and executing data migrations.
  • At least 2 years' experience in designing the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and their applications in business contexts.
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems and devise effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of the core features of the Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, and Flow.
  • Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to understand processes, propose industry-standard changes, and identify solutions to streamline and innovate systems and workflows.
  • Proficient in documenting and presenting visualizations that effectively communicate complex processes to the intended audience.
  • Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in an Agile work environment.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including the candidate's experience, education, and work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
