Key Responsibilities- Technical Process Expertise: Provide technical guidance to plant operations, maintenance, and other groups to ensure full optimization of refinery systems and processes.
- Planning and Scheduling: Complete planning of refinery needs and future maintenance programs, prepare operational plans, and implement production schedules.
- Leadership and Direction: Provide directions to ensure all maintenance and operational requirements are achieved to optimize equipment performance.
- Process Development: Develop plans and process specifications for the efficient operation of new and existing processes.
- Productivity Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance process reliability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Manage OSHA regulations and requirements, safety program initiatives, and training, as well as reporting and record-keeping compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum ten years of experience in processing or engineering in biofuels, petroleum, or chemicals, with prior experience in Operations/Plant Management in a related manufacturing environment.
- Expertise: Expert knowledge of chemical plant and/or refinery processes, with prior experience supporting execution of capital projects, including planning, design, execution, and start-up/commissioning.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage all groups, interacting with engineers, plant operators, laboratory technicians, maintenance and I&E technicians, and production engineers.
