Position: Excavator Equipment Operator

Department: Sewer & Excavation Division


We are a well-established plumbing company in the Mid-Atlantic region, known for our commitment to reliable service and strong customer relationships. We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Equipment Operator to join our Sewer Team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate excavating machinery for various excavation projects.
  • Ensure trenches are excavated to the correct depth and grade.
  • Transport equipment to designated job sites efficiently.
  • Monitor soil conditions and materials that may affect operations.
  • Conduct all work in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with MOSH/OSHA standards on-site.
  • Report any equipment issues or material defects promptly.
  • Backfill trenches after inspections by local code enforcement.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards, including marked utility lines and other equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation and submit it in a timely manner.
  • Report any damages or injuries to supervision immediately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
