Materials Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Management Manager to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role in supporting the Medical Director and Clinical and Administrative Functions of the Pathology and Laboratory Department.
The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling, with three years of experience in medically-oriented healthcare environments. A Masters Degree is also acceptable with two years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and supervisory skills, with the ability to maintain employee confidential files, prepare agendas and assemble materials for meetings, and participate in laboratory and hospital in-service programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing necessary support to the Medical Director, as well as coordinating daily operations of the Pathology and Laboratory Administrative Office. You will also be tasked with preparing "e-time" computer payroll and associated functions for HHC and NYU. Additionally, you will assist the Chief and Assistant Director with general Human Resources management actions, answer telephone calls and respond to provider questions, and promote positive relations through productive and professional interactions with patients and hospital personnel.

Requirements:
