Job Summary

Fisher Phillips is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex projects and drive project results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate project participants to complete tasks on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project documentation for major projects, including project charters, requirements, change logs, etc.
  • Plan projects and track status for all assigned projects in Jira, including goals, timeframes, resources, assignments, and risk assessment.
  • Motivate project participants to complete tasks on time.
  • Contribute to the team's success by pitching in when able and needed.
  • Communicate status with IT leadership, primary stakeholders, and task owners.
  • Advise IT leadership of risks to projects' critical paths.
  • Manage and coordinate directly with vendor resources when they are involved in project tasks.
  • Generate reports on a regular and/or ad hoc basis.
  • Assist in PMO build out and ensuring Best Practice procedures are being upheld to standard.

Requirements:

  • Technology degree and/or 6-10 years of experience and demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent skills in documentation and note-taking.
  • Strong ability to manage formal and informal engagements with stakeholders.
  • Skilled at navigating project constraints and adapting to evolving circumstances.
  • Capable of adjusting communication style to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management abilities, ensuring deadlines are met for both internal and external tasks.
  • Adept at prioritizing assignments based on urgency, while asking the right questions to ensure successful project execution.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, maintaining professionalism and seeking support promptly when needed.
  • Possess a mindset focused on continuous growth and learning.
  • Dedicated to upholding confidentiality and fostering trust within the team.
  • Consistently meets deadlines.
  • Determination to represent proper Project Management Best Practices
