Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide guidance and direction to our clinical team on weekends, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Rounds and Communication: Make rounds with physicians as necessary, maintaining open communication and ensuring that our residents' needs are met.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Care Plan Review: Review care plans daily to confirm that appropriate care is being rendered, ensuring that our residents receive individualized attention and support.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare center.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island.
  • CPR/BLS Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • Nursing Experience: Four (4) or more years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Supervisory Experience: One (1) or more years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital, or other related healthcare setting is required.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
  • COVID Vaccination: Primary Series of the COVID Vaccination is required (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption).
