Job Title: Autism Therapist

**Salary:** $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Therapist to join our team at the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting one-on-one direct ABA therapy sessions in school or home settings.
  • Assisting clients throughout the day with academic and daily living tasks.
  • Teaching adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills.
  • Encouraging the practice of desired behaviors through positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Data collection and analysis to track client progress.

Requirements:

  • US work authorization.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required.
  • Negative TB test results.
  • Reliable transportation and CA driver's license.
  • Interest in working with children and adolescents, including the ability to engage in playful activities.
  • Patience and empathy when addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and the highest standards of ethics.
