As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients referred by a licensed physician, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients referred by a licensed physician, adhering to the Practice Act for the State of Georgia and the Guidelines for Professional Conduct of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • Actively supervise and participate in the care of patients treated by Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and Athletic Trainers.
  • Comply with hospital policies and support the mission and values of the hospital.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: The Physical Therapist must be duly licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
  • Education: The Physical Therapist must be a graduate of an APTA or other accredited school of Physical Therapy, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree.
