The Cedars Textile Art Collaborative (TAC) offers a vibrant and engaging environment for our clients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Program Facilitator to enhance our TAC team.

In the role of Senior Program Facilitator, you will collaborate with retired individuals to assess and plan their daily activities. Participants can select from a variety of work opportunities, community-based engagements, volunteer initiatives, as well as on-site music and art projects. The Cedars Seniors Program stands out as a unique offering in the region.

This position involves a degree of hands-on caregiving, including assistance with personal hygiene and toileting, as required by participants.

The TAC Program is situated on 22 scenic acres overlooking San Anselmo, featuring a community garden, art barn studio, modern kitchen, weaving studio, and more.

Key Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Willingness to learn and provide direct caregiving as necessary.
  • Proven ability to lead, advise, organize, and inspire groups.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality record.
  • Capability to teach and impart skills in the various program areas at TAC.
  • Readiness to assist wherever needed.
  • Ability to pass an employment physical, including a TB test, and meet the physical demands of the role.
  • A valid DMV driver's license with a minimum of three years driving experience, and willingness to operate a passenger van.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications or the willingness to obtain them.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check with the FBI and DOJ.
  • A good sense of humor is advantageous.
