Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ink Technician to join our manufacturing team at Interprint, Inc. in Pittsfield, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain production efficiency by accurately matching ink for production orders
- Produce mid-run ink additions to ensure seamless printing operations
- Verify weight and contents of inks to maintain quality standards
- Conduct in-process batch color matching to ensure accurate color reproduction
- Document all process events and approve batches for printing operation
- Input ink mix formulations into color computer and provide necessary information to replacement shifts
Requirements:
- Demonstrated good attitude toward work and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 40 or more pounds and obtain forklift certification
- Color vision for color matching purposes and basic computer skills
- Completion of vocational training in machine shop or previous work experience in a similar field
