We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about serving people and making a positive impact in their community. As a kitchen helper/dietary aide, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality food service to our residents and clients.

Job Summary

The kitchen helper/dietary aide will assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals, following established policies and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Prepare and deliver food and trays
  • Wash dishes and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Specialized training in food service desirable
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
