About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Family of Kidz. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to our clients, including designing and implementing individualized therapeutic interventions, administering evaluations, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement creative individual and group therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
  • Administer and create speech and language evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and Special Educators to ensure comprehensive language and functional communication support.
  • Oversight of student's Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
  • Utilize students' behavior management strategies and behavior intervention plans during sessions.
  • Maintain professionalism with families, school districts, and other professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
  • Create and maintain schedule.
  • Collect data on each IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
  • Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
Requirements
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • NYSED Certifications: TSSLD or TSHH.
  • Experience working with students with autism preferred.
  • Experience programming Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
