Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lansing, MI. As a Physical Therapist with The Recovery Project, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services as medically prescribed in the residential setting
  • Evaluate and treat patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Supervise and direct PTA staff
  • Formulate and implement physical therapy plans of care
  • Complete related documentation efficiently
  • Participate effectively in interdisciplinary team
  • Direct discharge and home education planning as appropriate
  • Guide and direct patient participation to facilitate learned skills for participation in mobility-related activities, improved function, education on adaptive equipment, and promote functional independence and high-quality of life
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Experience: Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a medical setting with a neurological population. Preferably experience with functional electrical stimulation. Strong recent graduates may apply.
  • Licensure: Applicants must have passed the licensure exam regulated by The Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy and be licensed with LARA in the state of Michigan.
