Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a Traveling Speech Therapist. As a Traveling Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and schools.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to patients with a variety of speech and language disorders, including apraxia, stuttering, and dysarthria.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths and weaknesses and to develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
