Position Summary: Coordinates the activities of Front End employees on assigned shift, while providing exceptional customer service to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers promptly and provide personalized service.

2. Monitor the flow of front end operations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

3. Provide extensive customer service, answer questions, respond to complaints, and process transactions.

4. Supervise courtesy clerks and general clerks, ensuring seamless operations.

5. Handle large sums of money safely and accurately.

6. Perform tasks such as processing customer returns, auditing register tills, and ordering change.

7. Maintain a high level of register accuracy and adhere to proper register procedures.

8. Perform general fronting of shelves, basic cleaning, and maintain a clean and organized workstation.

9. Perform duties of a courtesy and general clerk as needed.

Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.

2. Basic mathematical knowledge and cash handling experience preferred.

3. Working knowledge of produce codes and ability to differentiate between different produce products.

4. Basic knowledge of working with computers, such as spreadsheets, email, and word documents.

Work Environment:

Air-conditioned store environment with occasional exposure to outside conditions.

Other:

Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
