Key Responsibilities:- Assess and monitor patients throughout the labor process, identifying any complications or concerns.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive birth experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections, and provide post-delivery care to mothers and newborns.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license, in good standing.
- Minimum of one (1) year Labor and Delivery experience.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN. Fetal Monitoring.
