Fabrication Specialist

Vigor Works is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating buildings, beams, girders, boats, and other structures out of aluminum materials according to contract specifications and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret various types of drawings and sketches to lay out and assemble components with speed and accuracy.
  • Identify material types, cut to length, and lay out and fit up welded or bolted details.
  • Develop, bend, roll, build up, and assemble various types of plated assemblies and structures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience or apprentice program.
  • Ability to pass a 3G, 4G Aluminum weld test on 3/8 plate to AWS D1.2 weld standards.
  • Must be in good standing with or willing to join an affiliated labor union.
