Estimated Salary Range

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $32.21 - $45.11 per hour, with the typical candidate hired below the midpoint of this range.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Medical Technologist to join our team at Sunrise Hospital. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing various laboratory tests and procedures. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us reach our goals and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field from an accredited college or university, OR
  • Completion of three years of academic study with a minimum of 90 semester hours in a curriculum involving biological or physical science, along with 12 months of training at a school of medical technology approved by a national accrediting agency, AND pass a national examination for certification;
  • A bachelor's degree in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences, accompanied by at least one year of additional full-time experience or training in the specialty or subspecialty in which you perform tests, AND pass a national examination for certification approved by the State Board;
  • Passing an exam for Clinical Laboratory Technologist given by the Department of Health and Human Services; and
  • State of Nevada certification or eligibility.
