Job Description

The Avionics Integration Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, modifying, testing, and documenting embedded software environment requirements for military upgrade development programs. This includes managing and communicating requirements to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate embedded software into avionics systems.
  • Working knowledge of Green Hills Multi development environment to develop, compile, link, and test software modules on Avionics embedded computer systems.
  • Working knowledge of static and dynamic test tools, including PC Lint, LDRA TestBed, and VectorCast.
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle, including the ability to break system requirements into software requirements and associated tests.
  • Prefer a knowledge of DOORS with the ability to link requirements to test procedures.
  • Working knowledge of multiple software development languages, including C, C++, C#, and Python.
  • Plan, support, and manage integration projects to meet customer requirements.
  • Work closely with other functional disciplines to ensure compliance to all critical performance parameters.
  • Suggest design improvements and spiral opportunities to improve current integrated weapon system capabilities.

Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate across multiple organizations.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and horizontal integrations across other teams.
  • Familiarity with military aerospace design and certification processes, including requirements development and verification, preliminary and detailed design.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
