Seed Yard Laborer

We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Seed Yard Laborer - Temporary at PYCO Industries, Inc. in Sweetwater, TX.

About the Role:

• Perform manual labor tasks such as cleaning rail cars, folding tarps, and sorting bungees and straps.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
• Report mechanical and electrical equipment problems to the Supervisor and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in seed management tasks and report any issues to the Supervisor.
2. Maintain good housekeeping practices and assist in cross-training employees on all job requirements.
3. Instruct employees on company safety rules and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Less than high school education or up to one year of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Estimated Salary Range: $20-$28 per hour (dependent on location and experience)
