Job Summary

Coroplast Tape Corporation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Specialist to assist the Maintenance Team Leader in the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment, as well as the maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of our industrial plant or warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all production machines as directed by the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with TS16949 requirements.
  • Support the ISO14001 System, Policies, and Procedures as assigned.
  • Participate in 6S activities within the team.
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed.
  • Demonstrate safe use of sharp objects.
  • Maintain housekeeping in maintenance areas.
  • Follow safety programs for facility and machinery using NEC and OSHA requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance.
  • Apply basic mechanical theory.
  • Maintain mechanical drawings for all equipment.
  • Perform actions required for machine start-ups and shutdowns.
  • Assist in maintenance on all facility equipment.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and storage locations throughout the plant.
  • Proactively search and provide OEM part numbers for rapid ordering of spares.
Requirements
  • 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • No certifications needed.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
