Responsibilities- Assist nursing personnel in providing basic care for patients, including personal care functions, feeding, and vital sign measurement.
- Help keep patient rooms clean and supplied, and transport patients, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Assist nurses and other personnel as needed, and participate in case conferences with the healthcare team.
- Report any changes in patient condition or incidents to the Nursing Supervisor, and maintain confidentiality in relation to all clients and healthcare staff.
- Current and valid NYS Certification for Nursing Assistants.
- Six consecutive full-time months of CNA experience post-certification in long-term care.
