We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Chris Mechanical Services Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on commercial HVAC systems to prevent potential issues and ensure efficient operation
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and inefficiencies
  • Execute repairs on commercial equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, pumps, and controls
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service visits
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards while working with complex HVAC systems and equipment
  • Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, explaining technical details and proposed solutions clearly

Compensation: $30.00/hr to $40.00/hr depending on experience

Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a half-hour lunch

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • 3+ years' experience with commercial HVAC service
  • Willingness to travel to the service area
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to comply with all safety rules
  • Ability to handle system start-up and adjustments
  • Ability to work independently
