Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities
  • Verify and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets.
  • Perform audits and reviews of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and issue bills, invoices, and account statements to customers and vendors.
  • Manage and maintain cash handling procedures, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and management to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or related field required.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
