Ambulatory Surgery Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Surgery Nurse to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our Outpatient Pain Management Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating patient preferences and needs.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-care and empowerment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
This role is based in our Outpatient Pain Management Department, where you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
