Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Qs Nurses. As an OB Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they are providing the highest level of care.
  • Coordinate daily administrative and nursing duties, including medication administration, medical treatments, and patient documentation.
  • Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a seamless transition of care.
  • Mentor and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent patient care.
  • Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
  • Administer IV medications and fluids as ordered by physicians.
  • Liaise with doctors and administrators to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
  • Record and maintain accurate reports and records.
  • Identify and respond to emergencies and issues in a calm and efficient manner, promoting best medical outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current License in the State in which you are working.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Prior experience required, unless participating in our Preceptor Program.
  • Excellent leadership, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate with sound judgment, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and reasoning.
  • Proficient in technology and medical software systems.
  • Ability to handle stress and work confirmed shifts.
  • Ability to follow the nurse practice act, specific to the State in which you are working.
