Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in delivering expert speech and language therapy services to students, helping them achieve their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities using teletherapy platforms to connect with students remotely. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address students' specific communication and swallowing goals, aligning them with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Teletherapy Sessions: Deliver engaging and interactive therapy sessions via teletherapy, employing innovative techniques to enhance student participation and progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with school teams, including teachers, special education staff, and administrators, to provide coordinated care and support for students with speech and language needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to support their academic and social-emotional development.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP-related records, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of residence.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, with teletherapy experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport remotely. Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
