Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) Practice to provide ventilation, heating/cooling, exhaust, ductwork and natural gas/propane distribution designs. The position reports directly to a Project Manager or Principal of the Practice Area. Project types include:
- Municipal (police, fire and public works facilities)
- Park District (recreation centers, pools & maintenance buildings)
- Apartments, Senior living and mixed-use facilities
- Restaurants & entertainment
- Gas stations, C-stores and retail
- Offices and warehouses
- Healthcare facilities
The successful candidate will produce/maintain design drawings & specifications from schematic design through construction administration, conduct field surveys and construction observation, and engage with clients and staff in order to manage and coordinate scope and schedule.
