Apartment Preparation TechnicianPosition at SunRidge Management Group

JOB OVERVIEW:
In collaboration with the property manager and lead maintenance technician, the Apartment Preparation Technician's main duty is to ensure that all vacated units are meticulously restored to 'market ready' condition promptly and in alignment with the manager's schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct inspections of vacated units and complete detailed checklists related to make-ready tasks.
  • Regularly restore units to 'market ready' condition by executing tasks such as replacing lighting fixtures, windows, appliances, faucets, sinks, air conditioning filters, carpets, curtains, and more.
  • Assist with painting duties, clearing out apartments, changing locks, maintaining cleanliness of grounds, delivering notices, and reporting supply requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the property manager or lead maintenance technician.
REQUIREMENTS
Must fulfill all physical demands and be capable of following instructions.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Weekly schedule may vary as needed. Weekend work may be required.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Must wear back-support belts, gloves, and suitable footwear. Knowledge of safe operation and upkeep of cleaning tools is essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Consistent need to be on feet and engage in physical activities such as bending, climbing stairs, lifting/carrying, and writing.
  • Constant need to notice details and identify areas requiring attention.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to cleaning agents. May require working in awkward positions.

REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to apply common sense to follow simple instructions.
