Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Services Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Per Diem ER Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our emergency department team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Engage critical thinking skills to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience
  • Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting patient autonomy, dignity, and health
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training Course
  • EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 90 days of hire
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within 7 days of hire)
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within 60 days
  • MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R, per department requirements
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last 3 years
