Job Description

At Walgreens, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in our pharmacy team, assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, as well as providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and labeling medications.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
