Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to lead our early learning programs at the Capital District YMCA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate program activities that promote child development and learning.
  • Lead and support a team of educators in providing high-quality care and education to children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective program.
Requirements
  • AAS in Child Development, Elementary Education, or related field, or Child Development Associate Credential.
  • At least one year of experience working with children in a developmental setting.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement program activities.
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations and developing positive relationships.
