Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Gleneagles & Co. As a key member of our Senior Culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the culinary operations of our Staffearn Restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative culinary trends and menus that consistently exceed the expectations of our guests.
  • Benchmark with high-end restaurants and culinary establishments to stay ahead of the curve and bring variety and excitement to our menu offerings.
  • Develop a calendar of culinary events and themed pop-ups using seasonal products to showcase creativity and innovation.
  • Implement a procedure for menu planning and development, ensuring that our menu offerings are balanced and appealing to a wide range of tastes.
  • Work closely with our Culinary and Front of House teams to build strong relationships and ensure excellent communication and collaboration.
  • Lead the Staffearn Brigade by example, supporting their recruitment, learning and development, and career progression, while living and instilling our Gleneagles values.
  • Interact with guests and colleagues in a warm, professional, and helpful manner, ensuring that every visit to the Staffearn Restaurant is 5-star in every way.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a corporate dining or high-end restaurant environment, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about delivering high standards of cuisine and service, with a strong sense of pride in your work.
  • Positive can-do attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills and a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, a positive and enthusiastic approach, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding guest expectations.
