Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following technologies:

Proficiency in New Relic Platform including APM, Synthetic, and Browser Monitoring

Expertise in New Relic Query Language (NRQL)

Strong programming skills in Python

Technical Competencies:


• Advanced knowledge of New Relic platform functionalities (APM, Synthetic, and Browser Monitors)


• Ability to develop scripts or code using Python, PowerShell, and other languages


• Familiarity with Visual Studio Code IDE


• Proficient in New Relic NRQL


• Experience in developing New Relic NerdGraps


• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and Terraform


• Experience with AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and auto-scaling techniques

Minimum Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (8 years) in the IT sector.


• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience as a Site Reliability Engineer


• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with New Relic


• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.


• 3 years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud


• Solid understanding of serverless architectures including AWS Lambda, ECS Clusters, and S3


• Familiarity with platforms like Heroku, Mulesoft, and Salesforce


• Ability to innovate and propose new ideas for system observability and performance within the overall ecosystem


• Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs, including potential weekend or evening availability for software releases and critical incidents.
