Key Responsibilities:

The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk will be tasked with ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and maintaining organized records. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing work by gathering and sorting necessary documents and information.
  • Processing invoices by verifying transaction details, scheduling payments, and obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Generating revenue by confirming transaction details, calculating charges and refunds, and preparing invoices for mailing.
  • Collecting payments by following up on overdue accounts and notifying clients of insufficient payments.
  • Compiling financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account data and trends.
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers by accurately posting transactions.
  • Verifying account balances by reconciling statements and transactions.
  • Resolving discrepancies by investigating documentation and making necessary adjustments.
  • Ensuring financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
  • Protecting financial information by performing regular database backups.
  • Preserving financial history by filing accounting documents appropriately.
  • Contributing to team success by achieving related results as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
