Doorman Assistant

Fat Tuesday is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Doorman. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff while maintaining a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Greet patrons and check IDs
• Collect cover charges
• Provide security and safety
• Maintain bar supplies as needed
• Protect bar patrons and staff
• Monitor the bar or club perimeter for safety concerns
• Audit customer aggression or intoxication

• Ability to work during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays, and special events
• Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture
• Ability to assess threats and over-intoxication
• Comfortable talking to people
• Ability to manage multiple people and situations while maintaining composure

• Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a week
• Ability to stand/walk for 2-6 hours per day
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry
• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic

This part-time role requires flexibility with scheduling, including night shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
