Receptionist/Cashier Job Description

Herb Chambers Lexus of Sharon is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused receptionist/cashier to join our team.

Job Purpose:

Supports sales operations by welcoming visitors, answering and transferring phone calls, cashing out clients, and assisting the management team as requested.

Duties:
  • Welcome visitors, potential customers, and customers by greeting and referring them to the appropriate person.
  • Forward sales information by answering the telephone, receiving faxes, recording and delivering messages, date-stamping documents, picking up, receiving, preparing, and delivering mail and packages, and maintaining a postage meter.
  • Present a welcoming environment by keeping the reception area neat and clean.
  • Provide office supplies and services by maintaining inventory, placing orders, arranging for equipment repairs, and servicing equipment.
  • Complete special sales projects by organizing information and requirements, meeting schedules.
  • Achieve sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Work full-time with night and/or weekend shifts required.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent phone skills.
  • Automobile experience preferred.
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
