We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at Interior Logic Group. As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for fabricating customized granite, marble, Corian, and Engineered stone countertops and related products that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine customer specifications to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.
  • Fabricate work pieces as determined by work order specifications, retrieving correct materials and performing various fabrication duties.
  • Inspect work pieces visually, by touch, or using tape rule, calipers, or gauges to ensure product meets desired standards.
  • Operate machinery to maintain standards, set points, programming, and adjust to various product types, conducting preventative maintenance as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including seeking advice and guidance from supervisors on non-routine or problem areas.

Work Environment

  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Typically works in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, noise, dust, wet work areas, and fumes associated with a normal countertop manufacturing operation.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age.
  • Must pass a drug test, background check, and pre-employment tests if applicable.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Preferred: Experience with countertop fabrication shop equipment or machinery, a plus.
  • Preferred: Countertop experience.
  • Preferred: A desire to work with your hands to produce beautiful products in a team environment.
  • Preferred: Granite and solid surface (Corian or similar) experience.
