Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance image visibility
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
  • Communicate scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed
Requirements
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
  • Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) certification
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong technical skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
  • Active unencumbered Radiology Tech/CT Tech Michigan state license
  • One year of Epic experience
  • ARRT certification
